hi, buckley again
i would list jeff buckley playing at sin-é, in front of a crowd of maybe 50 or so people as my number one dream concert. above a packed crowd watching led zeppelin at madison square gardens, above the beatles on the rooftop, even above pink floyd doing the berlin leg of their the wall tour. i can't really explain why, but there is something so raw, so intimate, so real (pun intended) about live at sin-é.
the solo phantom tour was jeff buckley going back to sin-é. back to being a 'nobody' and doing what he did better than almost anyone i've ever heard - play beautiful music.

runkeeper - easily the best gps tracking app i've used for cycling
i've been riding a bit lately and used a bunch of different apps to track my rides. i like doing this as it gives me extra motivation, through competing with a mate of mine and also trying to beat my times, averages etc.
runkeeper is easily the best i've used. it's interface is clean and dare i say, 'iPhone-like'. it stores everything online so i have a record and it does nothing more than what it needs to do. simplicity is a big factor in my choice of runkeeper over the other apps.
two small things i do wish it had (and maybe it does, but i haven't realised!):
- an option to stop the timer when i stop. often i ride to meet a mate, wait for them for a few minutes or so, and then go for a ride. this idle times either messes with my averages or it means i have to pause and resume when i take off again
- the ability to make my ride maps private to the world, but open to my street team. i'm private about the location of my house (where my rides start and end) so i make the activity public, but the map private.i'd like to be able to have my street mate(s) see the map
